THE LITTLE ROBOT

While I was at Wolverhampton University doing my Ba Hons Illustration degree, I never saw myself as a children book illustrator at the time since I was inspired by comics. 
   After university however I decided that I would give myself a task, to try and create my own children book as a project. 

In 2018 I first attempted this project working from an original character that I made during university.
   The first attempt ended in failure as the large page size I worked with wore me down. The pages themselves lacked in layout however I would learn from these mistakes.

At the start of 2021I started recreating 'The Little Robot' once more, working on a smaller page size and using my past mistakes as reference. My approach worked and creating the pages was easier and more rewarding when they was finished.
